Introduction
Location – Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom
A report came in on 25.07.2024 that an object had been seen coming out from the water at the location of Swansea beach. The time was around 8pm where it was witnessed by two people. These persons were interviewed but were quite frightened. The object they had described was a bright circular object that had some abnormal speed coming from out of the water as they had described.
Findings
Location was visited to obtain the exact location where the witnesses were at the time of the sighting. It was noted that there were ships in the area at the time of the sighting and at the time of initial visit. It was suggested that a ship may have sent a drone to survey the area at the time of the sighting, however, based on witness reports, a drone would not be able to accelerate at the speed they described. To further rule this out, it was also noted in the report that the object was of a bright white with light being given off, which also does not match any description of a drone, and this suggestion was later ruled out as a drone.
It was then calculated that the distance between the witnesses and the object was roughly 3 miles which would indicate a good vantage point. The weather was also clear and dry when the incident occurred.
Locals were questioned to ascertain any further details/potential evidence but to no avail, however, it was reported that sightings are frequent within the area, but it was heavily noted that this particular report was rare and no other in recent history had been reported.
A brief historical check was also made to build up a timeline of sightings, however most were identified as UFO(UAP), rather then USO.
Recommendations
Overall, the recommendations that were made from this report were that of genuine sighting, however due to lack of further evidence after further investigation, it is therefore the decision to place this investigation as concluded as a sighting of an unidentified object.
Conclusion
To conclude this report, the findings show that initial report was that of a genuine unidentified submersible object even though this could not be evidentially verified. The report stated that because of the description of the object, the speed and the location, this will conclude and be added to the official sightings list.
