It is official, after months of hard work the transition has finally been completed and the International Bureau of Paranormal Investigation and Research is up and running. So, what are we about? Well it is quite simple. The paranormal has always intrigued humanity for many years and yet the concept of it all has shifted well into the entertainment industry, but that is where we come in. We are bringing back the original concept of investigation into this worldwide phenomena by adding a more scientific approach which will allow us to investigate further into the realms of the unknown, but wait, that is not all we are doing.
We are bringing more investigative services to the table so that we are able to cater for all, and with that being said, we are proud that the transition has allowed us to do so, so what changes have we made?
Previously we had what was known as departments which were each separated into their respective countries as well as various other departments that specialised in different areas, the issue was that there were simply too many departments and we needed to condense them down, which is why we introduced the four units that make up the core of the bureau. We have the PIU – Paranormal Investigations Unit, We have the SIU – Special Investigations Unit, we have the HIU – Historical Investigations Unit and finally we have the CIU – Central Intelligence Unit. Each serves a very important purpose and is vital to how we operate.
The other changes made is the way we described our team. We had paranormal investigators, ufologists, demonologists, cryptozoologists and private investigators. So, we decided to condense that down too but simply bringing them all under one name, special agent. This means our agents will no longer need to have a different title from the rest, and equally, our team are exceptionally happy about this change too.
Other changes include how we operate on social media and how we interact with others. We are more open, and disclose pretty much everything for public interest. We will also be introducing our brand new podcasts as well as our brand new YouTube channel. We’ll also be doing more live shows on social media platforms to give you a better insight into what we do.
To add to everything the transition has given our team, we introduced a new training program, better resources, new uniforms, new identification badges and much more. Yes, we have been busy. The biggest change we have made however is how new members can join our team. We have introduced a brand new membership program which has a lot of great benefits including uniform, badge, accessories, revenue share and more. Plus let’s face it, becoming a special agent with us is a fantastic opportunity to learn new areas and become one of the family.
