The Cryptozoology Research Unit (CRU) recently launched an investigation into the 1970’s FBI files where they were tasked to officially investigate reports of Bigfoot activity, however, upon their conclusion they had stated that no evidence was found and quickly concluded their investigation, but many believe that this simply was not the case and that they had indeed found evidence but decided to cover it up.
Recently, the head of the CRU had been in direct contact with the FBI to obtain access to these files, however the senior agent was met with a a counter. The FBI had directly asked for a fee to release the files requested, however after a discussion, it will now come down to a simple choice as to whether or not to pay the fee, but there are cons to this.
We do not know that if we pay this fee, that the files will be complete, and that no information will be missing. Another route however which is being discussed is that we apply pressure as part of the disclosure movement, seeing as how Bigfoot is heavily associated with the UFO/UAP category.
A meeting between investigative agents is set to take place within the next couple of weeks to decide on its next steps.
