A New Era
It has been confirmed that significant changes have taken pace within the Bureau that have become part of the new era. Formally, NDA’s were used for each unit however, it has bee confirmed that that he NDA’s are finally being scrapped.
In previous years, the NDA’s were brought in to protect information, however, since the new era has begun, the Bureau decided it was time to lift the NDA rule to allow more freedom of information. In a short statement by the board, they said, “This is a huge milestone that we have been actively working on. Although the NDA system was initially bought in to protect information, it has shadowed the purpose of what we do. The NDA system will only apply to evidence that is required by authorities such as cold cases, missing persons and scam cases. The NDA is completely removed from everywhere else.”
This also marks the other changes that have already been happened included the scrapping of the social media policy, the information collected on the join us forms and other policies which were deemed outdated and intrusive.
The Bureau has officially entered its new era as a complete overhaul has taken place including new board members to oversee the operations, a new voting system designed to let everyone have their say in decision making and more freedom for seniors to run their units without question. Other changes are also being implemented including changes to its social media profiles which means all socials will now start seeing the work from all units, more detailed stories and investigations and even more open discussion.
In another statement by the board, they said, “This new era is designed without limitations. To give more information to the public and to provide an even better understanding of everything we do. In light of the changes, we still want to give thanks to previous members who made an impact and helped to shape what we are and what we do. Mistakes were made in the past, but this is now the opportunity to move forward and allow the Bureau to be what it has always intended to be. We have even decided to cut ties with former business partnerships to allow the Bureau to flourish.”
The new era promises to be everything and more and with exciting new ideas coming soon, the Bureau hopes that it can finally be the Bureau now that restrictions have been removed.
