Summary:
Henagan was last seen walking into the woods across from a neighbour’s home in Newberry, Michigan at 4:30 p.m. on August 4, 2008. He had had a disagreement with his live-in girlfriend earlier and had temporarily moved in with his neighbour. His father had sent him a bus ticket to go back to his parents downstate, as he did not have a car. Henagan was supposed to meet his girlfriend at a deer blind in the woods. She arrived, but he never did. He has never been heard from again. Three days before his disappearance, Henagan made several phone calls to friends and family members, he was asking them for a ride to Hartford. One of Henagan’s friends, Austin Bradley, was later charged with the murder of his girlfriend. Her remains weren’t found until 2011. Because of the nature of the the charges against Austin, authorities investigated to see whether he might have been involved in Henagan’s disappearance. They haven’t said whether or not Austin is a suspect in that case.
