The Bureau is set to host its second ever ParaCon later this year, but with a huge twist that will come with it.
The Bureau hosted it’s first ever ParaCon back in 2024, and is now set to host another, however, this time it’ll be so much different. The plans are to fully host the event entirely online, allowing those who wouldn’t otherwise have the means to attend in person.
Plans are in motion to set the ParaCon for October 2026 as part of the Halloween season, and will run for a full 12 hours, allowing investigators, authors and alike to be able to attend. It has also been confirmed that the ParaCon will host this special 12 hour stream across multiple platforms.
Starting at the end of this month, a sign up will be launched to those interested in taking part in the ParaCon, allowing time slots to be allocated nearer the time. The Bureau will be looking for paranormal investigators, ufologists, cryptozoologists, authors of the paranormal, podcasts and other channels to take part.
In a statement, the Chief Executive issued the following:
“Whilst physical events are great, we decided to think about those who are often unable to attend these sorts of events, which is why we want to create something different this year. We believe that everyone should have the option to be included, and of course, the suggested 12 hour stream which may be longer, but not yet decided, would allow enough time for a collection of individuals to join in and speak about their experiences, promote their products or brands and of course join in on all the discussions. I strongly believe that this will be a huge success and if that prediction is right, then we would strongly consider this to be a permanent event going forward.”
Registration for this event is set to release at the end of January so please look out for further updates.
